The Edinburgh Legal Education Trust, which was founded in 1996 to improve legal education, is offering this fellowship. The Trustees would like to give a scholarship to commence studies in September 2023. This scholarship opportunity is available to students pursuing a degree at the Institution.
Edinburgh receives around 60,000 undergraduate applications per year, ranking it second in the UK in terms of applicant number. With 35,375 students in 2019/20, it is the eighth-largest university in the UK by enrolment. Edinburgh Legal Education Trust International Masters Scholarships Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must be accepted for the LLM by Research degree by the University of Edinburgh.
Applicants must have an honors degree in law or an ordinary degree in law combined with an honors degree in another subject.
Applicants must hold a UK 2:1 honors degree in law or a social science discipline, or its international equivalent.
Applicants must provide the following English language proficiency exam results:
IELTS 7.0 TOEFL-iBT 100 CAE/CPE 185 Trinity ISE SE III with a passing grade in all four components
PTE – 70
International countries are eligible.
Master is the kind.
The scholarship will cover tuition expenses (at the home level) as well as a stipend of £10,926. Furthermore, the Trust may provide a limited amount of help for research fees, however this would typically not exceed £400 per year.
The Trust will pay the fees directly to the University of Edinburgh. The maintenance allowance will be paid in four equal installments on the 15th of September, the 15th of December, the 15th of March, and the 15th of June.
